Calllll iiii fornia

Finally, it was our long awaited
vacation. We have been soo ready for this trip. My parents will be at the beach for the month of September and each of us 5 kids are spending 4 nights with them throughout the month. We were the first family to go. We got up Wednesday morning and headed to Oceanside. We got there at about 2:00 and the weather was georgeous. My parents were already there and helped us get unpacked and settled in. It didn't take long at all for the kids to have their bathingsuits on and hop the wall to the beach. We are staying in the same place as last year, just a different condo, so the girls remembered it well. It is amazing. Out the patio door is grass and the "No Beach Access" sign. Ya right. We hop that wall, climb down the rocks, and stake our territory in the sand for the day. We spent the rest of Wednesday in the sand, and all day Friday. And I mean all day. The kids were so great. They played so nice together, loved the water, boogie boarded forever, built sand castles, buried Kobi, and just enjoyed every minute of it. One of the great things about this condo is that because it is so close to the water, Kruz was able to take his normal naps in the condo and I wasn't worried about him. I could check on him often and still enjoy the beach without having to stay in the condo while he sleeps.
Thursday was Disneyland!!!
Need I say more??? I'm not sure whose kids we had that day, but it is hard to believe they were mine. Disneyland truly must be the "Happiest Place on Earth."

My kids were great. I was worried
about Kruz, but he was perfect. We had the most perfect weather, and can you believe we only had to wait in line for ONE ride!! I am serious...We waited 30 minutes for the new NEMO ride and everything else we literally walked on the rides. No joke, all the signs said 5 minute wait. It took us 5 minutes to get to the ride and then we sat right down. What more could you ask for?? Kobi was able to ride everything except for Indiana Jones, but that was ok.

She had so much fun. Kylee was able to ride everything, and I think they both thought they were in heaven. We just had the greatest day. We left the park at about 7:30 and headed home. It truly was "Magical"
Thank you mom and dad.

We were extra lucky with our trip that my sister Jamie and her family were the next vacationers. They actually came a day early for the BYU-UCLA football game and we got to spend time with their 2 girls. It was go great and my girls just loved having a playmate. The girls stayed the night with us and Jamie and Joe came back early Sunday morning. It was just so great to spend time with them. Jamie is a great photographer and took some family pictures for us before we left. We certainly don't have the perfect, cooperative children, but we do have a few cute ones to choose from.

We were so sad to leave and say good-bye. We had
such an amazing time and have great memories. We would love this trip to be a yearly event. Thank you mom and dad for a wonderful trip.
