My sister Jennifer had her annual Halloween party. She always has cute crafts for the kids and yummy treats. It is fun to see everyone in costumes. The weather was still super hot for the afternoon, but I don't think anyone noticed except for the adults. Good thing we weren't in costume.
Kobi had her Halloween Party at preschool. I was able to switch a couple of my classes around so that I could leave early and be there to help. It was super fun. All the kids were so cute and they had lots of little carnival like stations for the kids to do and to get candy for. They were of course loving it, and all the parents were taking pictures. Super Cute!!!
Kobi really loves her preschool and she is doing such a great job.

Halloween night!!!! We started with the traditional Chili dinner and Grandma and Grandpa
Kreipls. It is just so yummy, and we were back in our own neighborhood ready to go by 6:15. Our friends came over to walk with us, and Grandma and Grandpa
Hough came over to see the kids, pass out our candy, and put
Kruz to bed when he got tired and the girls wanted more candy still. They came over last year also to do this, and we love it. A tradition we would love to keep. The kids got LOTS of candy. Do you think they know any is missing??? What do you do with all of your candy???
1. MOST of the candy bars go into the freezer. Except the ones we won't eat. (The Almond Joys...those go to Grandpa Kreipl)
2. The gum and anything that resembles gum....goes in the trash.
3. The stuff I would just prefer they not eat, goes in a grocery sack and heads over to CTA for the Fall Festival on Friday night. How lucky for them.
Now here's the bad news. See these most adorable pictures.......

They were last years. I don't have any this year like them. I am a
bad,
bad,
mom and we didn't actually make it to the Pumpkin Patch. I feel so
incredibly guilty. But between two different round of everyone being sick and surgery on my mouth and Saturdays devoted to the backyard and football....we just ran out of time. Darn it. I will miss most that
Kruz didn't get to pick up and roll pumpkins around. I am so sorry. The only thing that I am glad about, is that NOT ONCE have the girls asked about going.
FEWWWW, at least I am not breaking their hearts!!!! We will do better next year. I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!!!

Kobi's wig is hysterical! I bet they had so mch fun! Any chance Gabs had to pick out her own piece of candy at someone's house she'd pick a pink sucker. Um, hello, what good does that do me? Needless to say, no freezing anything good over hear, not this year at least! Sorry about your pictures. I'm sure it is harder on you than it will be on them-if they ever notice! Love you
It looks like you guys had a busy time leading up to Halloween also. I'm sure the kids had so much fun trick or treating, and their pumpkins looked great! You know, pumpkin patches don't magically disappear the day after Halloween. You could still get to one and snap a few photos. But either way, I doubt the kids will ever notice.
Five Halloween parties and you call yourself a BAD mom?!?!? The pumkin patch can wait till next year. Kruz will still be cute.
I LOVE the Dora! I saw her at the ward shin dig and thought it was the cutest costume, but I didn't recognize that it was her. Glad you enjoyed your fun/busy Halloween! It was fun to see you tonight!
They all look so cute. Dora is the best though. You are not a bad mom at all hello...I would just say a busy mom! I can't believe you got it all in, where is the picture of you in the Wonder Woman costume?
What cuties!! It was so fun to be with you guys on Halloween night!
Very cute Halloween pictures. And you're not a bad mom! Are you kidding? All of our candy went straight to Riggs donation exept for maybe a few pieces I snaked and hid from the kids! (Nerds and lemonheads...my favorite!) Glad you had fun!
It looks like you had a fun and very eventful halloween! I loved all the kids costumes. I'm glad to have found your blog it was fun reading all that's been going on for you! I'll be checking in from time to time if you don't mind.
Oh please! skipping the pumpkin patch photo HARDLY qualifies you for a bad mom, nice try. You got plenty of other great shots!
Oh my gosh! I just realized we never made it to the pumpkin patch either! Crud! We bought our pumpkins at a pseudo pumpkin patch and totally forgot about it. Oh well, the kids didn't seem to notice. There is always next year!
How's your mouth?
I would just like to say that Walmart has WAY cheeper pumpkins than some dusty 'ol pumpkin patch. Your rugrats are so dange cute, I love Kruz's cheeks! Cute page!
