Phase 3 and Great Times

We have finished Phase 3 of the backyard. This is certainly a work in progress, but we are finally seeing some good results. I am finally able to really visualize the backyard once the guys came in and did the boarder. It is so exciting. The girls are excited and because the weather has changed, they are wanting to be outside a lot. So the next step was the trampoline. We already had it actually, because we needed to set up the frame to make sure the boarder around it was the right size, but it was time to put the whole thing together.

The girls were so excited, the actual tramoline didn't take too long, it was the safety net that took a long time. We worked on it for hours on Saturday, because we had promised the girls it would be up. Finally they were able to jump. They jumped for hours. And I kid you not this week they have put countless hours in the backyard. They used to wake me up in the mornings, but with this week being Fall Break, I now wake up to Kruz playing in his crib and I can hear the girls outside jumping. Did I mention that it is 7AM. Every morning they are up so early and they just put their jackets on and go out and jump together. The neighbor kids come over and they have all been given the rules of the tramp, and they are just having a blast. It has relieved me of my tremondous guilt of how much tv Kylee watches. This week the playroom tv has hardly been on at all. It has been so nice. I love Fall Break. I love that I have the week off also. I love that the weather has changed and my kids love being outside and I love that we are finally finishing our backyard. Stay tuned for Phase 4. I think that is happening this weekend.

Wow. It looks great. I can't wait to see the next stage! We'll have to come over and play on the trampoline sometime. I didn't even know you had it already. Now that the weather is cooling off you need to have a BBQ for everyone!
