Yahoo, a day off today. I decided to pack up the kids and go meet Josh for lunch. We picked him up at work, Went to Lowes, and then to Super Salad. Not our favorite place, but it was right there and we were running out of time. So we go in, choose a place near the back of the restaurant (3 kids...you understand) and sit down. I go with Kobi to get our food and Josh takes Kylee afterwards. We are all eating, I am feeding Kruz in the highchair, and I wasn't really paying attention at all, that we were actually having a GREAT lunch with NO PROBLEMS. Everyone is eating, no one is yelling, we were talking normal, getting seconds and things were great. I can see that Kruz is smiling with the older man sitting alone behind me, but I'm not paying too close of attention because he is still eating, a lot. So we have been sitting and eating for about 2o minutes now and the man got up and started to leave but stopped right next to our table and says, " I just wanted you to know what a great family you are. Your children are so well behaved and it was a pleasure to sit by you. They have wonderful manners and you should be proud of them." WOW!!! We say "thank you" and we appreciate the compliment and then Josh and I begin to tell the girls thank you and how nice it is to be eating with them and that people DO NOTICE when they are being well behaved. Then totally out of the blue and UNEXPECTED Kylee says. "Well dad told us when we walked in that the policeman's were here eating lunch and if we didn't behave they would get us." WHAT??? Did she really just say that?? Did Josh really say that?? OOPS!!
**Disclaimer** We don't usually threaten our children with that...but we certainly enjoyed our lunch.
