Victoria

This was the final destination for our cruise. We arrived at about 5:30, and this was the only place we decided not to do an excersion. We had dinner on the ship, and off we went. It was a beautiful night. We were in jeans and long sleeved shirts, and even that was a little warm. We took a bus in to the city, and it was a holiday weekend in Victoria so the streets were busy, but it was so great to just walk around and view the sites. I loved the lawn of the Capital Building, people were just playing frisbee and throwing balls.

The Empress Hotel was beautiful and we took quite a few pictures there, but for some reason I was fascinated with the totum poles. I just think it takes a great talent to carve them, and it is so time consuming.

We got back on the ship at 10:30 or so and knew that our vacation had come to a close. What a GREAT trip we had. Josh and I feel so blessed to have been invited on this trip. For my parents who provided this vacation and the memories that go along with it. We are so glad that we were able to have 2 of my sisters and their husbands their also. We had a wonderful time and hope one day we can go on another "adult trip" again.
