Cabbage Patch

I know I post often about this, but it is just amazing to me, not to mention it has been a huge blessing and learning experience for our family to have a garden in our backyard. We have all put in the time, we've planted, watered, picked and eaten. We LOVE our garden. We have expanded it 2 different times and my dad has been so nice to start some of the plants off as seed and then gives them to us to transplant into our garden. We have been successful with every vegetable we have put into are garden. We have had lots of radishes, green onion, cilantro, carrots, lettuce, and our latest is this HUGE cabbage. We are so excited to use it, and in the next couple of weeks, we will have 2 more.We are waiting on our cucumbers, zucchini, and tomatoes and can't wait for them to be ready. Yahoo for fresh vegetables from our garden.

It looks great. Dylan saw the picture and shouted "cabbage!" She's been spending time in grandpa's garden and asks to go over there a couple times a week to help pick veggies. As soon as we get rid of Michael, we're hoping to plant one too. I'm sure the kids just love having their own fresh veggies and feel such a sense of accomplishment.

That cabbage is huge!! Way to go on your garden. We are still having lots of trouble with ours. I am glad to hear that yours is working so well.
