Happy Easter

It was a great couple of busy days. We had rain on Saturday and it is such a nice change. I love it. Saturday was a busy day, but wonderful. We had our annual Easter picnic with my family. It is "annual" now that we have done this for the past 3 years. We meet at the park where the kids can play and we have dinner. It is nice to sit and talk with my family and not really worry about what the kids are doing. We have a Easter Egg hunt with all the kids and my mom and dad always hide the "Golden Eggs" for the kids. It is great fun and the kids really love it.

I didn't have my camera this year oops, but hopefully I will get some from my sisters soon, and can add them into this post.

Easter morning was great. Josh was able to be home this morning until 10:00. We have the tradition carried on from my mom, and the Easter bunny leaves an egg next to all the kids bed. Inside is a little poem that helps to the kids in finding their hidden baskets. You will notice from each of the pictures where they all were.
Kruz loves eating chips.

Kobi loves helping mom cook.

Kylee loves playing the Wii.
They love this tradition, and I am sure the Easter bunny loves making up clues each year. They enjoyed their traditional gifts of bathing suits, with a few other things thrown in there. And then amongst the candy, we were able to have a nice breakfast. Josh left for meetings, and we soon followed to church. I was a little stressed as I had to teach today in Relief Society. But, I love this calling, and am grateful to study each month for these lessons.

I was able to get a few pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes before we left for church.

I love this one

After church we headed to Josh's parents for dinner. We had a nice dinner and enjoyed spending time over there. We were all tired, and came home and went to bed. We had a great Easter.

The kids look great in their Easter outfits and I'm glad the tradition continues. Unfortunately, we're lucky the bunny even visited our house this year. Next year hopefully he'll get more creative.

I love the girls hot pink Easter outfits. And is that your yard? That can't possibly be your beautiful green lawn in Arizona! It looks so pretty!

Love the new background! It's totally something I would wear!

You failed to mention that on Easter you gave a most incredible Relief Society lesson.

I had to put that here. For posterity.

Such cute pictures! And happy anniversary, what a fun getaway. '99 was a good year to get married (we celebrate our 10 year in June)!
