Well my Kylee is in 1st grade at CTA and they say that this school is advanced and ahead of the normal school curriculum. Kylee has always been a smart girl. She is a quick learner and very perceptive. I really think she has a photographic memory. New concepts just come so easy to her.
So we were at the soccer games on Saturday and she had just finished her game and we were watching Kobi's game. Josh was discussing her game with her and how she could be doing better. I wasn't paying that close of attention, but I think I heard him say to her something like "What do you think you could do better? How can you be better for next time?" And she answered with something like " I need to have perseverance." Josh looks at me and says to Kylee, "What?" Perseverance?, What do you mean? What is that? She says, "You know, Perseverance. Working hard and not giving up, like all the people at war. We just learned about that word in school."
Holy cow, Josh was floored. She has learned what perseverance means and she is only 6 years old. Needless to say, he was amazed.

That's awesome! She is so stinkin' smart! You guys should tell her a "word of the day" and what it means and see if she can use it in a sentence sometime throughout the day. I bet she'd love that!
