Santa and the Cookie Bake

Gosh after a busy week, Saturday came as a much needed break for us. We woke up to much needed rain and it kinds threw our morning off. We didn't get to our ward Christmas Breakfast with Santa until 9:45. (It was over at 10:00) But reguardless....we still were able to see Santa. I have loved that these past few years we have gotten Santa pictures from ward parties. It is SO MUCH BETTER than waiting in lines at the mall. We were soo successful this year. No crying kids. We got some cute individual pictures and then a group picture. We are so grateful that Santa was able to visit.

We left and went to Josh's parents house to drop the kids off. Each year his parents love to have a cookie bake with the kids. They roll the dough, use the cookie cutters, bake the cookies and then of course frost and psrinkle them.During this span of 4 hours, Josh and I are able to go Christmas shopping, out to lunch, and just enjoy some time together. We love this tradition. We are so blessed to have both of our families close by.

Yes, I was right behind you, begging & pleading & bribing my kids as all 3 of yours so willingly sat on his lap with no hesitation & big smiles. NOT fair! :)

I have no idea when Dax is going to meet Santa! Last year wasn't much of a success, but I think he might be okay this year. Who knows when we'll see him though. Love those cute kids!

I want a family tradition like that! Maybe I can convince the grandmas.

I think the Cederstroms deserve extra blessings for letting the whole ward trudge through their house! Once again, you're making me jelous with all your fun family time! :)
