Backyard Scene

When all is quiet in my house, and I know the girls aren't out front playing, this is often the scene in the backyard. Brinkley and Kylee are in the same grade at school and are great friends. Kobi is about a year and a half younger, and Jax is in 2nd grade, but they all actually get along really good. It is fun for them to have each other.

Often times, we will see Kobi and Brinkley playing together and Jax and Kylee playing together. Years down the road it will be so fun to watch how these friendships continue.
After we had cleaned up everything today out front, we found them all in backyard waiting for dinners to be served. So we got Pudgie and Kruz in on the pictures and got a group shot. We are grateful for good neighbors.

What a fun thing for these friends to be able to do. I'm sure these meetings will continue as they get older, and probably turn into sneaking in and out of the house to visit. Just wait!

SOOO CUTE. WHEN YOU GUYS WENT FOR DINNER TONIGHT... JAX AND BINKY ASKED IF THEY COULD JUST GO HANG OUT ON THE WALL. I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING. IT WAS JUST NOT THE SAME THOUGH AND THEY WERE JUST SAD AND MOPEY WHEN THEY CAME BACK IN! BETWEEN YOU AND ME.... I BET JAX AND KYLEE DATE AT LEAST ONCE! SHHHH!

That is so fun! That totally reminds me of kids who had string hanging from their window that they would pull when they wanted to talk and play. What fun to have such great neighbors.

Cute! So sorry about the strep throat/curbside b-day! At least he's too little to notice for now!
Let's hope that doesn't happen when he is planning all day for it & having a bunch of buddies over!

That is adorable those two talking over the wall! How happy you must feel to have neighbors that are so great! Lucky kids! And lucky parents...you won't ever have to drive them to friends houses! Love it!

So, cute. You are lucky to have such great neighbors. I would kill to live in a neighborhood full of children. And especially next door!

Is this Deanna's family? I have tried to reply to her blog, but I think it is private. will you tell her I appreciate her comments?

Thanks!

And PS... I am jealous of your tan, too. I NEED some sun, bad!

I loved having visits on the fence w/my backyard neighbors growing up! Summers were especially fun when we'd jump into eachothers pools...at night...without permission! :)
