I didn't even mention to Kylee today about it being April Fool's Day. Why would I?? So we go to pick her up after school and she comes running out with her class and says, "mom ,I lost my tooth." What??? It has only been loose for like 5 days and I serioulsy thought it would be weeks before the thing came out.
I am totally thinking she got hit with a ball, she ran into something......
So her teacher comes out and I look at her like "how did this happen??" and she says well first...
Kylee comes in from lunch and tell me she is bleeding. She has a pretty big scab on her knee, I already knew. Her teacher says...I could see it from my desk so I tell her to go to the nurse. She said that Kylee started laughing and says April Fool's...It's just Ketchup. WHAT!!!! Where does this child come up with stuff like that. Then her teacher thought it was pretty funny so she sends her up to the nurse anyway to fool them.
So then her teacher says that "after the afternoon recess Kylee says she has lost her tooth and I didn't believe her. She kept insisting, and I really didn't believe her until she started getting upset because IT WAS HER FIRST TOOTH.
She then saw the tooth, and was sent up to the nurse. She got the cute little tooth necklace, and was sent back to class.
What a fun April Fool's Day.

How funny! That' great that her teacher kept the joke going. And Kruz...at least he made it until age 2! My boys climbed out by the time they were one! :)
I love that it was ketchup!! Mayzie must have only known half the story. She had a close relationship yesterday with the pavement and was pretty scraped up (for real). She said that the same thing had happened to Kylee and that they had both gone to the nurse! I don't think she had any idea that Kylee was pulling the wool over on the school! HA! I love it! P.S. I couldn't get the video to play. :( I will try again later.
