Both of the girls were in swimming lessons at 2 years old. We just felt it was something important to do here in AZ. They both learned how to swim, and are now great swimmers, so this was the summer for Kruz to learn.We have had the same swim teacher for 5 years now, we love Miss Katie and so we were excited that she was around again for Kruz. We signed him up for 2 two-week sessions. He cried the first couple of days, floated without moving for the next couple of days, and then something clicked. He started moving those little feet like someone was chasing him. He is kicking so good now. He can kick all the way to the wall, reach up and grab it, and "monkey walk" to the shallow end. He is doing better each day. He loves being in the pool now and is getting quite the tan.

What a lucky little boy to get in the water everyday. He looks like he's having so much fun.
I remember being so impressed with the girls being able to swim like they did. I'm sure Kruz is going to be an olympian in no time!
So he is one of "those" kids that I would always sit and watch with amazement during swim lessons as my own kid was screaming bloody murder...
I WISH my four year old would catch that swimming bug. We paid for VERY expensive lessons and she fought me each one. She does not like putting her head in the water. Maybe someday...
