and it's only 9:15. I need help, someone please tell me what to do. Kruz is indestructible. Here is my list of what he has already accomplished this morning. He was awake as Josh was leaving at 6:15. I was barely awake but thinking I would go back to sleep. Kobi was also awake. I heard them go outside to the garage to watch Josh leave. Kobi comes back in and says, "Mom, Kruz won't get out of the garage." (My kids know that we don't play in the garage, especially in the summer.) I have her go back out to get him, and she comes running back in.
1. "Mom Kruz is in your car with the door shut!" What?? When could he start opening my car door. I fly out of bed and run to the garage.
As I take him into the kitchen to put him in his highchair for "timeout" I realize he has already been into the 2. refrigerator. (He just learned to open it this past Thursday) The cheese was on the counter and the milk was on the floor. His 2 favorite things to have.
I sit at the computer to check my email, (I don't usually do this, this early in the morning) and I hear 3. "poddy mom, I do, poddy." I make it to my bathroom and he has his diaper off and is climbing onto the toilet. He started this about a week ago. He has yet to go to the bathroom on the toilet, but maybe we are making progress. We get him all cleaned up after poddy and I get back on the computer.
The girls are watching tv and after a few minutes I realize it is quiet, too quiet again in my house. I immediately run back out to the garage, and yes 4. He is back in my car. When I open my door, he has red all over his mouth and hands and of course inside his mouth.
I bring him inside, lock my doors, set the "chime" button on the alarm, and take him to the kitchen to try and figure out what he has eaten. After cleaning him up and smelling his breath, I ask him and he shows me the pantry. He had 5. Climbed the cupboards and gotten some Starbursts (red, the wrapper was on the ground) and has eaten it. Went to the car, so no one would see him. I also noticed the Pringles can on the ground with plenty of crumbs to show for it.
Holy cow, this doesn't even cover the 6. chair pushed over to the counter to get the snacks.
7. the many times he get on the counter to wash his hands. (And might I add that he CAN climb any counter without a chair)
He can 8. open the dryer and take out all the clothes.
9. On Saturday when Josh and he were outside in front he walked next door and walked into the neighbors house and asked to sit down and have pizza with them.
And O I forgot...10. he went out to the backyard this morning and sat down in the blowup pool that had rain water still in it.
What is a mom to do? Is this what my life has come to? I cannot take my eyes off this kid for 1 second. I have already called Josh to let him know we need a top lock for the garage door, and a lock for the refrigerator to be installed TODAY. Help....can any of you relate??

I AM ONLY LAUGHING BECAUSE PUDGIE IS RIGHT THERE. EXCEPT WE HAVE THE POOL THAT IS ALWAYS FULL AND I ALMOST FAINTED WHEN HE UNLATCHED THE LOCK AND MUSCLED THAT HEAVY DOOR OPEN AND YELLED, "MOM. GOGGIE IN HAHAHAHAHA!" AS TIGGER PRANCED IN THE HOUSE PROUD AS CAN BE AT HIS LITTLE BABY!
OF COURSE KRUZI IS MORE THAN WELCOME TO WALK IN AND HAVE PIZZA WITH US ANYDAY! THAT WAS THE BEST! MY DAD WAS LAUGHING SO HARD AND ASKING HIM IF HE WANTED COOKIES AND MILK TOO!!
I HAVE AN EXTRA LOCK IF YOU NEED IT FOR THE GARAGE. WE ALREADY HAVE BOTH OURS UP AND I BOUGHT FOUR...ONLY BECAUSE I AM MEAN ENOUGH TO CONSIDER LOCKING HIM IN HIS BEDROOM SO HE CAN'T GET OUT ANYMORE AT 3 AM AND GO DOWNSTAIRS TO HAVE GOGURT AND CHEESE WITH EVERY LIGHT ON AND THE TV NOW!!
A GATE LATCH WORKS WONDERS ON THE PANTRY! (JAX FIGURED OUT THAT IT IS EASY TO LOCK YOURSELF IN THOUGH!!)
YOU DON'T NEED TO COME TO THE GYM.. YOU ARE GETTING PLENTY OF EXERCISE RUNNING AFTER KRUZ!
Ah, yes. It has happened. He is officially a boy now. Not a baby. A full-blown mass destructive, into everything, uncontrolled, busy, messy, silly boy. Welcome to Boy Mothering! I don't know how my Mom raised all those boys. Good thing I came along later to help her regain faith in childhood! :)
All I can say is that thank goodness children are cute or else they might not survive!
Now I'm really getting nervous to have another boy! Good thing they're so cute, right?
Right. I can't even count all the times I have said that about Kosty. He is just as wild. I promise! now aren't you glad you had 2 girls first!?? and people wonder why I am so dead set on a girl next time...I've done my share!
Awh I'm sorry. Just call me if you ever need any help.
We're moving this weekend...hopefully we've been saying this weekend for the past two weeks so who knows! I know i'll miss you guys expecially the girls. Seeing them every Sunday. And when i say hi they run away :P
I'll miss you guys.
But anyway just give me a call anytime i should be home.
I have a little guy just like that! It was funny, while I was reading your post I was totally picturing Caden. One day I was making dinner, Tyler and Zach came down stairs and I said "where's my baby?" Ty said he thought he was with me...just then Cade comes runnning out of the office so happy and sayin "I A mama I A." He took my hand and lead me into my leather couches where he showed me his "A"...he scribbled on every cushion of the couch, chair and ottoman...even the window sills. The part that makes me sick is he managed to do this in like 3 minutes...and he did it again the next day! The joys!
I feel your pain. Porter keeps us on our toes all day long. Thankfully I have 4 other kids to help keep an eye on him. I am positive he has more than one guardian angel watching over him!
This is Collette, Crystal's sister, and I'm hoping you get the comments through your e-mail so you'll actually see this. I was just wondering if anyone over there was doing a shower for Crystal? I know it's a couple of months away, but I'm just thinking ahead. My e-mail is theburrow@cox.net. Phone is 545-5612 or 229-1237.
