I want you to meet my new friend. I imagine many of you probably already have this new friend, but I always consider myself "out of the loop" and a little behind in receiving information.
I have been very diligent in my food storage over the past few months thanks to my sister, and we have been doing quite a bit of canning. I have lots of chicken, ground beef, pork, salsa, peaches, pears, nectarines, and we have been anxiously awaiting apples. We want to can applesauce and apple pie filling. So today we were finishing off our 38 pounds of pears and we bought a few apples to test our Pie Filling Recipe.
My sister already had this friend but found me one a few weeks ago on sale. Yes everyone, I have an Apple Peel, Core, and Slicer all in one and it is WONDERFUL, AMAZING and SO FAST. It suctions right to my counter at the sink and I just have to load the apples and turn the crank. I CAN'T WAIT for all the apples to come in. Yummy pies for us.

I'm feeling really left out of the loop by the two of you. All I can say is when it's time for the apples, I'd better be included. I've made my request to both of you now and refuse to be ignored!!! The apple pie filling look great but how did it turn out???
Yes, sometimes I just want to be alone with my peeler/corer/slicer. I LOVE it! Apples come mid October!

Ok, the last picture is killing me. I keep looking at it... everyday.. like every other hour really......I want to come over and steal those jars and eat the pie filling with a spoon...

Ok, So I am pondering over here... for like ever it seems. So, if I buy this so called wonder machine... because every blog I click on seems to talk about these... will you teach me how to use it?
I think I could make the pie filling.. and ice cream.. heck yeah I am there in a hot second. (I would hide all the stuff because I am absolutely sure I would never want to share it!!)
One problem... where would one go to find this little contraption?
