First Grader

So Kylee loves to read. She started reading last year in Kindergarten and always brings home cute books from the library. Probably a month or so ago, I started to notice that she was more interested in reading the newspaper, the "Friend" articles and she was saying that the books we have at home are boring. So she comes home from school yesterday and says "Mom look at the book I got from the library today." O My Gosh..it was a HARDBACK, CHAPTER BOOK. I said "Kylee are you allowed to check these books out?" How do you know if you can read it? What if it's too hard?" She said "mom it's not, I am already on Chapter 2." Holy Cow, when did she become such a great reader? So here is her first chapter book. 11 chapters, 118 pages. P.S. Today she is on chapter 3.
