So today was a normal Sunday. Josh was at bishopric meeting at 7:00 and I was at home with the kids. Sundays are kinda long for us. We don't have church until 2:40 and that is a long time to entertain the kids with no TV. I was particularly tired this morning, maybe the whole fasting thing...but I was just tired. I had put Kruz down for his morning nap and of course the girls were bored. We have all been packing a little bit and getting ready for our trip to the beach on Wednesday, and in the middle of folding towels, I just decided to lay down on the rug. Kylee asked if she could "do my hair" I said "sure as long as I don't have to move." So she went to the bathroom, got the water, a brush, clips, headbands and whatever else she could think of and decided to start my hair. She said mom I am going to do a "pattern." I really didn't care what she did. I was laying on the floor with my eyes closed, Kruz was in bed, Kobi was playing light brite, and we still didn't have church for 4 more hours. I hadn't done anything, no baths, no dishes, nothing...pure laziness. And then...Josh came home. What?? Bishop was out of town and so the rest of the meetings for the day were cancelled. This is what he found when he walked in the door and he walked straight in to get the camera. Kylee had definitely made "a pattern."

Wow, now that's a hair do! How long did it take to get all those out? Your hair is so long and Kylee is super crazy! I hope your day was fun today. Only 5 more days!
Hey!!! I figured out how to leave a comment finally!! I love that Kylee wanted to do your hair. Tell Josh to watch out because she's bound to figure out that it's even more funny to make a pattern in her dad's hair!! ;)
Whoa. What a hairdo. Remind me to have Kylee teach me how to do that. It might be the only way to keep Dylan's flyaway mop down!
Awesome. I wish my boys would play with my hair...it feels so good. But they just pull it out instead. Cute crazy hairdo. Good thing they're not in to making patterns with scissors like my boys!
That is so fun! What a good mom you are, and she did a pretty good job I'd say. I'm glad you found me, I added you to my blog, so I'll keep up with you! Hope all is well and you had a great time at the beach. I love your blog!
okay so I am curious who we both know!?! We'll have to chat about that...
Those pictures made me laugh out loud! The other day my neighbor came by and we chatted for a minute. When he left I went back into the kitchen and saw myself in the mirror. I had two leopard print bow clips in my hair. I'm sure he thought I was a freak.
