This past weekend was a special one. My little nephew Wyatt was blessed. My Grandma and Grandpa Kreipl live in California still and try to get to as many of these events as possible. My grandma will be 87 in May and my grandpa will be 88 in December. They are getting older, and slower moving, so our time with them is so precious. I feel extremely lucky that my 3 children are getting the chance to know them. We always remember to take pictures with them and just try to see them as much as possible. My girls KNOW them. They truly know who they are, and love them so much. They are not put off by how slow moving they are, how frail my grandma is, or how many wrinkles they have. They are genuinely glad to see them, and hug them just like they saw them yesterday and last week and last month, when in fact they haven't seen them since the beginning of September and that was only for 1 day. My girls have a very tender heart towards my grandparents and it is so touching to witness it. Kobi is especially drawn to them, she always has been. I was happy to see that that hadn't changed. Kobi sat right in the middle of my grandparents during all of sacrament. They loved it, and so did she.

i do wish we had more grandma and grandpa great pictures. lucky kids for knowing and loving them so well. i know everyone can see what a special relationship they have, especially kobi. we love you guys.
You are so good to get your pictures of the kids with Grandma and Grandpa! I love how they treat them how they would anyone else. You said it perfectly that they don't notice the slow walk or white hair. Kylee was tapping grandpa on the shoulder and ducking down so he couldn't see her. it was cute and he got a big kick out of it!
They are so cute! Your rugrats are so lucky they get to have experiences with them that they'll remember!
