A Temple in Gilbert

Gilbert Temple Artist Rendition

So rumors had been out for a few days, but nothing concrete. Until this morning (Saturday). We got word, and spread it quickly, that on the SE corner of Greenfield and Pecos on a piece of land owned by the Stake President in our old neighborhood, they are going to build an LDS Temple. It seems so unreal. We already have a temple in Mesa, it takes about 25 minutes to get there, but this temple....it is only 4 miles away. I can't hardly imagine what that will be like.
We are soo blessed already, but to have this temple be so much closer, is unreal.

It will be amazing to watch it be constructed, and to have the opportunity for my kids to watch this. What a blessing for our friends and neighbors to see this, and to have a chance to take them there and let them walk through before it is dedicated. What an awesome experience.

It looks like it's going to be beautiful! Amazing that you will see it built from the ground up! Just think, that may very well be the temple your children will be sealed in!

I had just posted about this, and then I saw your post with a picture. I stole the picture - hope that's ok. We are so blessed! This is going to be the neatest thing ever!!

This is SO exciting! We are so blessed. Did you hear that they announced another new temple in the Gila Valley area? So, two new temples for Arizona. It's awesome.
