Top Dog

Kylee was "Top Dog" this week at school. She has waited all year for this. And most patiently I might add. Her teacher didn't do it in alphabetical order like in Kindergarten. I'm not sure how exactly she did do it, but it was FINALLY her turn.

The thing I did like however, was that her teacher gave her a poster that was ordered from Scholastic Books and that was what she was to fill out. So no posterboard, one child's won't look better than the other, just fill it out, color it, and choose your picture.

She did the WHOLE THING herself. She wanted not the slightest help. I printed out 2 pictures for her to choose from, and that was my only contribution. I did get to go to school in the afternoon to watch her present it to the class. I LOVE seeing her at school. She is much more outgoing than I and is truly loved by her classmates.

Here are some of the questions she had to answer on her poster.

When I grow up I want to be: Artest
I show others I care by: Sharing
These are a few of my favorite things:
Color: Red
Animal: Monkey
Sport: Sofball
Food: Orange
Book: Magic Tree House
Thing to do in school: Math
Thing to do at home: Jump on the tramplean
3 Super Cool Facts about Me:
1. I have one funny brother.
2. I have one cute sister.
3. I have two nice parents.

It is great to see her at school and see how much she is learning and growing. I love Kylee so much and we are so proud of her.

Congratulations Kylee. I love you.

She's just darling.

I love to spy on Anna at school, too. I am always shocked to see this side of her. She is so confident and funny. Both things I was not.

That is a long time for her to wait! I'm glad her patience paid off, what a sweet girl!

So cute! I'm glad you got to go and see her in class. I always love peeking in on Dax in nursery and truley seeing him in his element. I love that all her favorite things had to do with her family! What a good girl!
