All About Kobi

Kobi has had a busy couple of weeks. She is one busy child with many personalities. I love ALL Day Kindergarten. I know that many parents don't LOVE it, or even like, but I DO. Kobi needs it, and it is a good feeling for me to know that she actually CAN listen and behave and do what she is supposed to do, when asked.

Ok so maybe not all the time. Kobi is a good student. She always does her homework. Actually, she often comes home with some of it already done because she finished her school work early. She does great on her phonogram tests and spelling tests, she is reading in AR, and she is coming home with Smiley Faces about 4 days a week. Smiley faces you might ask?? Well Kobi went through a rough spell in November when I was subbing everyday. Probably part my fault, but she was not making such great choices in school. You might remember the Principal Post. So we put her on a behavior plan to motivate her. It has made a HUGE difference at school. And a small difference at home.

But other that that Kobi is doing great. She finally became Star Student a few weeks ago. She was thrilled to have Freedom Bear in our home, and more excited when I got to eat lunch with her and be in her classroom. Kobi is well liked by her classmates and it is fun to see her interact with them.
This morning Kobi also got to go to school with her daddy. For Donuts with Dad. She was so glad that Josh could go into work a little late and spend some time with her in the gym eating donuts. I am also so glad that Josh has a job that allows him to do those kinds of things and understands that the family is important.

We love Kobi. She is a darling little girl with so much personality. She is Happy and Independent, Cuddly and Strong-Willed. A Pleas er and in her own time-frame.

If Kobi didn't have all these different sides to her, she just wouldn't be Kobi. We Love HER.

Kobi really is awesome! I just love that girl!

In that second photo of her, the one with her alone with Freedom Bear, you can sure see the "sister resemblance" to Kylee. Goodness! I can't believe I've never seen it so much before!

Kobi, you really are special!

How fun for Josh to eat donuts with her and for you to be able to go have lunch! It's so fun when kids are Kobi's age!
